Ok so I tried to have a budget even this last week which didnt work and I am sure I have found why. It is easy to go a little over budget when you are using your credit or debit card. Thinking to yourself oh its just $1 or 2 over no biggie. IT IS A BIGGIE! Our little overages totaled up to almost 30 bucks! I am gonna challenge myself on my trips next week to only use cash. If I Pull my budget at the beggining of the week and only use cash it will force me to be more conciencious of my spending. "Do I Really Need that extra candy bar?" We shall see how this goes. I am worried about dealing with cams tantrums seeing as how he wont be able to just cry and get what he wants in the store at any given moment anymore, but I am sure we can make this work and have it be a learning experience for ALL of us. So let the learning, saving, and better budget begin!
